We are producers of distinctive live comedy.

BIGHEAD Comedy are a London-based production company founded by Charlie Ralph in October 2022. Our first mixed-bill show, A Show Called Thursday, was headlined by Elf Lyons in the sadly now extinct Dalston Den, on 8th December 2022.

Since our inception our aim has been to highlight comedy that blends the theatrical and the narrative with traditional comedy elements. We love working with performers from unique backgrounds and helping to create shows that are not only funny, but also unique and exciting to watch.

In September 2023 we expanded to multiple mixed-bill shows across London, then in 2024 we went to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the first time as a production company, producing shows from Sarah Roberts, Rosalie Minnitt, Paulina Lenoir and Bebe Cave. After the success of our debut Fringe we are returning to the festival in 2025 and doubling our roster to eight incredible shows.

Since then we have gone on to produce multiple sold out runs at Soho Theatre and other West End venues, produced our first UK tour with Kate Cheka and her critically-acclaimed debut show A Messiah Comes and brought Paulina Lenoir's debut show Puella Eterna to the Red Pearl Clown Festival in Finland.

We also debuted our own mini-festival Early Days in 2024, with four nights of first-look early development previews at the Rosemary Branch Theatre from exciting new performers. This festival will be returning in October 2025.

Want to work with us?

We're always delighted to hear from new acts, especially those who see part of their style in the work that we do and think they'd be a good fit on our roster.

We're mostly taking a break from producing mixed bill shows at the moment, but we are always happy to take a look at individual projects. If you have a project you're looking for production support on, hit that little 'E-Mail Charlie' button down there and tell us about it!

If you just want to get on our radar for when we start booking shows again more regularly, we've also got a 'Hello!' form you can fill out right here.
